When you’re young and inexperienced…

you will find networking more of a challenge than ‘us old-timers’. I was at a Law firm in Scotland today where the managing partner acknowledged this but said of the more experienced people,
“They’re not cleverer than you- they’ve just been round the block a few more times than you.”
So true. Just be yourself, ask questions, show interest, and when you don’t know…admit it.
