I have recently worked in Eastern Europe, Malta and very soon in the Middle East.
This means I have presented to many nationalities with lots of different cultures and business customs. And you know what? Most of my audiences have the same issues when it comes to fears and concerns about networking.
Walking into that room at a business event is not easy. I include myself when I say most of us have 3 key fears. Fear of rejection- will anyone talk to me? Fear of the unknown- what is going to happen? Fear of failure- will I get involved in conversations where I do not fully understand or I meet people more experienced than me.
If you have any of those fears …you are normal. A major part of my job is to help you overcome those fears.
