“Do you have BMW clients?”

I invited someone to a networking event and the reply came back “I’m sorry, I am unable to come due to work commitments”. Until you realise that networking and working the room IS work and is as important as completing the work itself, then networking will be seen as a waste of time.

When you cull clients and customers who

  • Pay late
  • Always push your price down
  • Never refer others
  • You don’t really like or trust
  • Are BMW’s (bitches, moaners and whiners)
  • Don’t take your advice

…then you’ll have more time to go networking meeting new ones.

When you  spend too long working with the wrong type of clients this is leaving no time to seek out the right clients. Get rid of your BMW’s and then you may be able to afford a BMW!
